When are we open:
The Poole IT Service Desk is staffed Monday through Thursday 8am-8pm. Fridays from 8am-4pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm-8pm. No appointments are needed.
Please excuse our temporary furniture (we are still waiting for most of the permanent furniture and fixtures) however, it won’t affect our ability to provide you with exceptional service. Please come by with your laptop, tablets, etc and we will gladly take a look at your convenience.
Who do we support?
All faculty, staff, grad students and undergraduate students working in and attending Poole college.
What services do we offer:
Technical support for most technical issues: ie. software installation, troubleshooting, OS support (Mac and Windows)
Support for personal machines: We will attempt to provide best effort, if we can’t fix it we will help you find a place that can
Loaner computers: We have loaner machines (both Mac and Windows laptops) available for checkout for you to borrow while your computer is being repaired
Web services: We have student workers with some web development experience who would love to help you with your website
Custom projects: Our Student workers are eager to learn and help with your technology needs and help support any custom projects you might have- please contact the IT Director (submit a ticket to pcom_support@ncsu.edu) to request a meeting to discuss your needs.
