Adobe Creative Cloud License update

As you may have heard, our current licenses for Adobe products (Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Cloud- which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) expired on Friday, August 8. Central IT is working diligently on renewing the Adobe Creative Cloud license as quickly as possible for those who wish to renew.

  • ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD RENEWAL instructions: Please submit a ticket to poole_ithelp@ncsu.edu requesting your license to be renewed. We will forward this to the staff in central IT who are handling the provisioning of the updated licenses and get back to you as soon as the new version has been made available.
  • FoxIT Pro has replaced Adobe Acrobat Professional as the Campus PDF editor (Acrobat Reader is still available as a free download). Central OIT has replaced Adobe Acrobat Professional (this is the software used for editing PDFs) with a less expensive software called FoxIT Pro, which has the same capabilities and features. If you had this software and it expired, or you wish to have it, please send a ticket to poole_ithelp@ncsu.edu requesting the new PDF editor and include the type of computer you use (Windows or Mac) so one of the IT members can remotely install this software for you.
