Conference Rooms

The following instructions are provided to guide you in booking one of the conference rooms listed below:

  1. G402 – Nelson Hall Ground Floor (this is a zoom room)
  2. 1302 – Nelson Hall 1st Floor, MIE Suite
  3. 2302 – Nelson Hall 2nd Floor, Business Management Suite
  4. 3135 – Nelson Hall 3rd Floor, Accounting Suite
  5. 4103 – Nelson Hall 4th Floor, Economics Suite

To reserve one of the rooms listed above, you’ll need to add the respective resource calendar to your calendar list. You can do this by clicking on the corresponding calendar links provided below.

Calendar links (along with short calendar names):

When you open the calendar for the conference room, you can click on the icon on the bottom right corner to add it to your calendar list.

This will take you to a new page, and prompt you with a “Add calendar” message. Click on “Add”.

After adding the necessary resource calendar(s), follow these steps:

  • 1. Go to your Google Calendar (linked to your NCSU Gmail account).
  • 2. Create a new event.
  • 3. Set the meeting title, date, and time, then click on the “Add guests” option.
  • 4. Enter one of the conference room numbers listed above (e.g N-G-402), and the conference room should appear as a selection—choose it.
  • 5. Add any additional guests you wish to invite, then click “Save.”
  • 6. The event will be added to your calendar, the conference room’s calendar, and your guests’ calendars.

If you reserve G402 and would like to add a zoom link to your meeting:

  1. Navigate to the meeting event on your calendar.
  2. Click on the “Edit” icon in order to edit the event.
  3. Select the “Make it a Zoom meeting” option. Once this is selected, the link for the Zoom meeting will be automatically populated.
  4. Click on “Save”.
