Introduction

Opened in August 2022, the Poole IT Service Desk is a walk-in help desk located at the 2400 Suite (Nelson Hall) that offers IT assistance to faculty, staff and students at Poole College of Management.

1. We are a walk-in service desk, so feel free to visit us at Nelson 2400 Suite.

>> Loaner devices
  • Students can request for a loaner laptop if their personal device is under repair, or if any software is not compatible with their personal laptop.
  • Loaners will be checked out for a week, or for the duration of the project.
  • Loaner requests can be submitted at https://it.poole.ncsu.edu/loan-it-equipment/
  • Alternatively you can come to the service desk and check out a loaner in person, subject to availability.
  • Please note that students are responsible for any damages to the loaner.

OIT Walk-In Center for Machines Purchased Through the NC State Bookstore

The Walk-in Center assists students with their personal computers. The Walk-in Center provides hardware support for Apple, Lenovo Thinkpad and some Dell computers provided they are covered by their manufacturers warranty.
