How to Download MS Project & Visio 2021 from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching site

Note: These instructions are only for Windows OS.

1) Sign into the following site using your Unity ID and password: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Education/EducationMenuBlade/software

2) During the first sign-in, it will require an Academic Verification. Make sure to use your NCSU email address in the form of unityid@ncsu.edu.

3) From the “Learning Resources” menu on the left side of the page, click on Software.

4) Scroll down the list of software and click on either “Project Professional 2021 – DVD” or  “Visio Professional 2021 – DVD”. (Please note that the version of Visio and Project may change and that is OK). 

5) On the right side of the page, click “View Key,”  and it will display the Product Key.

6) Copy the Product Key and store it so you can use it to activate the product.

7) Click the Download button at the bottom of the page to download Project or Visio.

8) Double-click on the install file from the download location to install the product.

9) After the installation, you must enter the Product Key when you initially open MS Project or MS Visio. That step will activate the license and switch from the trial version of the software.
